You know how it goes. You sprung for that snazzy new outfit for your little one. She looks so pristine, so pretty. Every hair is in place, and her new outfit is to-die-for. And then she takes one bite of ice cream and drizzles chocolate down the front of her pretty dress. You take it home and spray it with your favorite stain remover, but it’s never the same again.

Did you hear that? Stain-proof clothing, y’all. Be still my heart. The owner of Bersica Futurewear was kind enough to send me a piece of clothing for each of my three children to try, and they were kind enough to model them for me.
The clothes do live up to their claims — they repel water and stains. I poured orange juice on this white shirt to see what it would do. It just sat in a pool on top and didn’t penetrate the fabric in the least.
I took a napkin and wiped it right off. My daughter felt it and said, “Weird! It doesn’t even feel wet!”
The clothes have a rather paper-like texture, which didn’t seem to bother my kids. I find it a little odd, but it’s a small price to pay for stain-proof clothing. Hopefully they will be adding more styles to their clothing line in the near future.
