Citizenpip Reusable Lunch Kits *GIVEAWAY*

This giveaway is closed. The winning number was 28. Congratulations Michelle!!

soup to nuts kitI’ve never been what I would label an environmentalist, but lately I’ve become more aware of my wasteful ways and a bit more conscientious about preserving our environment.  One thing I’m constantly convicted about is the amount of plastic sandwich baggies I use when I pack lunches in the mornings.  There are days when I pack 4 lunches, and I use anywhere from 2 to 5 sandwich baggies per lunch box.  That is costly in more ways than one!

Enter Citizenpip Reusable Lunch Kits.  All Citizenpip products are lead-free, PVC-free, phthalate-free, and BPA-free, and the flexible design accommodates different types of containers.

They offered to send me a Soup to Nuts kit to try.

The Soup to Nuts Kit gives you lots of options for packing lunch. With four BPA-free airtight food containers, including one that perfectly fits a sandwich, and an insulated double-wall stainless steel food jar that keeps food hot or cold, it gives you maximum flexibility! PB&J one day and mac n’ cheese the next day? No problem! You can pack pretty much anything your kids want to eat for lunch. Added perks, no squished sandwiches, 1 napkin for each day of the week, and a water bottle that does double-duty as an ice pack. Included is a stainless steel fork and spoon set for spaghetti twirling and soup slurping.

Pretty nifty, huh?  Now I know what you’re thinking.  I got this, and I was like, Yeah sure.  I’m going to wash all this stuff every day. But the best part is, you can throw it all in the dishwasher.  Easy peasy!

Citizenpip kits make great gifts as they are beautifully packaged with white cotton ribbon in a recycled white box.   Customers can include a gift message and even pre-order gifts for a later ship date.

  1. Ooooo… these look so nice! I am looking for something for DS’s lunch as I just started packing him one recently. I would LOVE to win!

  2. This would be great for my son’e lunch. Thanks for the chance!!

  3. I’ve seen these and would be tempted if I worked in an office. Actually I could get one for my husband, he currently uses Tupperware sandwich stuff.

I think they would be great for travelling too. We always take our own food on planes.

  4. That lunch kit looks exactly like what I’ve been looking for. Question tho … If you send soup or mac-n-cheese in the lunch, does it really stay warm enough so they aren’t eating it cold? My daughter is so tired of ham and cheese or pb&j, even when it’s in the form of peanut butter with apples on a waffle sandwich. I don’t want her to not eat but know she would if a hot soup was cold by lunch time.

  5. I need a good lunch kit!

  6. I would love this for work. I’m always bringing my lunch. This would be much more stylish.

  7. What an AWESOME giveaway!!!

I’m all for recycling and reusing. Since I take my lunch to work every day (an abnormality in NYC), I could really use this kit! Plus, I love how everything stacks into each other.

    Have a great thanksgiving! :)

  8. I was just talking to Hubby about how I hate using the plastic baggies, and want to find some containers that work in Boo’s lunch box. How fabulous!

    Thanks!

  9. My very sweet and thrifty husband takes his lunch to work four days a week. It is not only thrifty but it is healthier and greener. I would love to be able to pack him some home made soup in this lunch kit.

  10. Love it! My kids have lunch boxes – with reusable sandwich boxes – saves us tons-o-money on lunchbags. But, when I take my lunch (which I should so more often) I use a grocery bag. I would LOVE taking my lunch to work in this everyday!

  11. I really like this lunch box! Hubby takes his lunch to work and this would be the perfect solution to the zip lock bags and plastic grocery sacks we’ve been using.

  12. Hi, I’m Jill, I have a ziplock problem. Please help me….

  13. My grandson could use this on his school field trips. We are always trying to find something to put his food in. Thanks

  14. I’d like to win this to use for lunches at work. Thanks for the chance.

  15. I have two preschoolers whp would love this kit~
It never hurts to teach them early that reuse is the way to go!
    Happy Holidays Everyone!

  16. Hubby and I have been moving over to reusable packaging for our son’s lunch. This would be great to make the complete switch. Thanks for the opportunity.

  17. i am still looking for a good lunch kit for my kids. i just haven’t found anything i really like. we will have to take a look at this one…

  18. That looks so great. I’d love to try one out.

  19. Oh, to have a lunch box for the kids that was completely coordinated! Love it…thanks for the giveaway!

  20. I agree- these look fabulous and I too use way too many plastic baggies. Great giveaway!

  21. I would love this. I pack my baby girls lunch every day. She is on a restricted diet and I don’t trust the school to adhere to it. This is super neat and I love that it is free of all the Phathlates.

  22. I was just lamenting how many plastic baggies I go through each week. This is a great idea.

  23. Oooh – pick me! I try to use recyclable containers for lunch, but I still get stumped by “baggie” items. This is too cute and perhaps it would motivate my colleagues to think about being greener too.

  24. I’d love this for my husband since he has to take his lunch when he goes out in the field. This will be much more eco-friendly than the usual paper & plastic bags.

  25. Awesome! We do use sandwich containers in our lunches, and sometimes smaller containers for some fruit. I bought a bunch of containers for chips, etc, but they have all cracked. :( Cheap plastic I guess. I would love to win this, even if it made my kids fight over who uses it.

  26. Very cute! I was thinking the exact same thing before you said it — no way I’ll wash all of those pieces every day. But then you said it was dishwasher safe and THAT is what matters! :) ha!

  27. i’ve been dying to try one of these for ellie’s lunch! we waste SO much on plastic bags and such!

  28. I have tried to win one of these before but was not successful. I would love one for one of my kids. This year we found insulated reuable lunch bags with stainless steel water bottles from Costco. This cuts out the cost/waste of juice boxes. I did buy the reusable ziplock type containers and encourage my kids to pack their entire lunch with those and skip the baggies. Depending upon how many leftovers I have in the fridge with a family of 5 we sometimes run low on containers.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  29. This is great!! Just what I have been looking for so my DH can take his lunch to work.

  30. I would love to have one of these! I’m trying to pack my daughter’s lunch more these days to avoid the questionable cafeteria food and it would be so nice to have the bpa free containers and themos to put them in. Thanks!

  31. I love these! I’ve had my eye on them for a while now!

  32. Nifty. Do all those fit in the box at one time?

  33. Gretchen, I don’t think so. I think you pick and choose.

  34. Wow! Good for the environment and for the kiddos too! LOVE!!

  35. My whole family would benefit from this one! Thanks for the chance!!!

  36. This looks like a great way to send my sons lunch to school! What a great giveaway. I enjoy reading your blog!

  37. I think this is adorable. Good for a boy or girl!! Especially with my son’s lunches (a bunch of finger foods) this set would be PERRRfect. Thanks for the chance!!

  38. That would be really useful when I’m packing (adult) lunches every night!

  39. We have been trying to use more containers and less ziplock bags, tin foil and plastic wrap, so this giveaway would definitely help our attempts. Its adorable to boot!

  40. Very cool!! If I had something like this I’d probably be better about sending a lunch with my husband…something we really need to do to help our budget!!

  41. Great giveaway! These are cute and practical!

  42. Those would be great for the kids lunch boxes, they would love them.

  43. too cute! i love it!

    thanks for the chance!

  44. This would be great for my son’s lunch!

  45. would love to win this.

  46. I love stainless steel or aluminum water bottles and reusable containers for packing not only my kids’ lunches but mine too.

    Hope I win. :-)

  47. great give away. this would be wonderful for my lunch at mothers day out! thanks for the offer!!

  48. Oh, this kit is fabulous. We always use a lunchbox, but we do end up using lots of baggies or prepackaged stuff. This is a great way to reduce that. Thanks for the chance.

  49. WANT! I’m noticing now that more food gets eaten if it’s in cute packaging – crazy, how quick they learn about this stuff!

  50. I have seen these before, but never purchased. I know I would love them if I did. I try to take my lunch to work, but we don’t have the greatest “to go” containers. Maybe I will be a lucky winner!

  51. Would love this for my son’s lunches! Thanks!

  52. I would love this for my daughter’s lunch. I always seem to putting so many little things in her bag, but they don’t always fit in so well. Something like this would be perfect for her lunches.
