Energizer Easy Charger

We’ve all heard about how disposable batteries are bad for the environment, and frankly, they’re bad for my pocketbook.  My  kids go through batteries like I go through Lindt’s chocolate truffles.  AHEM.  So when I heard about the Easy Charger, I wasted no time volunteering to be one of their guinea pigs.

The $23 Easy Charger charges up to 4 AA or AAA batteries at a time.  (And it even comes with 4 AA rechargeable batteries, so add that to the cost savings!)  Now my kids don’t have to wait for me to run to the store when their battery-operated toys peter out.  They just have to wait a couple of hours to charge up the batteries, and then their toys are as good as new!

There’s a large, easy to read LED status indicator that lets you know when your batteries are re-charged and ready for action again.  It even comes with 3 interchangeable face plates to match any decor — black, white or a silvery gray.  I can honestly say I will never buy disposable AA or AAA batteries again.

  1. I love my rechargeable batteries! We are just starting to accumulate them, between the Wii remotes and my camera they get used.

While the price at first is high, over time they pay for themselves many times over.
