I’m never quite sure, when I open up my email these days, what exciting thing I might find.  Last week I found this from the founder and CEO of PearlParadise.com:

I came across your many blogs today so I thought to drop you an email.

The point of my email is to ask whether you would be interested in doing a review and a giveaway of a strand of our pearls. We’ve done a few blog review/giveaways recently, and have really liked the amount of excitement they generate.

We would love to send you a strand of pearls for review and ship a strand of pearls directly to the giveaway winner if this interests you.

My first reaction was to shoot back an email that said, “Hell YEAH!”  But fortunately I reigned myself in and prompted myself to be professional.  The VERY NEXT day — for REAL — I got this box in the mail.

I wore it to church yesterday and received several compliments.  There is simply nothing classier than a string of pearls. I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality.  They are individually knotted and match perfectly in a gorgeous iridescent white with just a hint of pink.

    These are beautiful! My favorite one is the 6.0-7.0 mm Pink/Peach “Freshadama” Freshwater Pearl Necklace ! I love pearls, as they go with everything, casual or dressy, and of course, very “Breakfast at Tiffany’s!” Thanks for the giveaway!

    I love the chocolate pearls. I have never seen anything in that color range before, and as I tend to wear a lot of browns and greens and oranges, I think they are perfect!

    I LOVE Pearls… they are so gorgeous, and to me.. they look beautiful with a White T shirt and Jeans or an Elegant Evening Dress. They make me feel Beautiful. (Hubby got me a 16″ chocolate strand for my 24th anniversary last year! My first set of Pearls EVER!)

    My favorite item from the site is the Tahitian Pearl Charm Bracelet and I’d love to win a pearl necklace because I’ve never owned any “real” jewelry before and it’d be great to start with some gorgeous pearls!

    I love the black pearl necklaces. I had one once as a teenager, and lost it in the move to college. But it’s a different twist on a classic, and can look so nice with the right outfit. I’d love to win the necklace because pearls are such a classic piece. Just beautiful. And they’d look good with several of my dresses.

    I have never in my life seen a Blue Akoya Baroque Pearl Necklace…that was just the prettiest thing- EVER!!!!

    Honestly, I’ve never owned a piece of jewelry in my life (well, I’d be fibbing if I said that; I do have my wedding band), but, I don’t have earrings, a necklace, a watch or even a bracelet. This would definitely put me on the “prettier than plain” list…Please oh please count me in…I would love to have my own strand of pearls- shoot, I’ve never even held a box that contained pearls in them (fake OR real).

    Thanks so much for this giveaway. It’s absolutely amazing and would be the per-r-r-r-fect birthday gift for myself. I’m fixing to be 35 in a few weeks and this could possibly be the only strand of pearls I’d have the opportunity to own in my life :)

    I love the basic white pearl and pink pearl strands. So classic and beautiful, and as someone else said, “Very ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and who doesn’t love Audrey?

    As for why I’d love to win a necklace? I’m three days from my due date and I’d just love having something new and beautiful to help me feel a little more lovely in those difficult months following delivery. :)

    I adore the White Freshadama Pearl and Diamond Ring…simply gorgeous! I would love to win these for my sister (who’s birthday is next week!). She has been a constant support system these last few months. My husband had major surgery and is out of commission for at least 4 months, and my sister has stepped in to help take care of the kids and house while I work full time.     I really love the simple strand of pearls that you tried on. I used to design and make jewelry, and while I know how to sting pearls, it was always a tedious task, and mine rarely looked as good as the professionals!
