The JJ
I read about The JJ on Boomama’s site a few weeks ago, and I just KNEW I would love it. And I knew my faithful readers would too. So I immediately jotted out an email to Janie, asking if she was interested in sponsoring a giveaway. Which she is. AND because she’s extra especially nice, she offered me one of my very own to try.
You’ll have to wait a couple weeks for the giveaway over on Musings, but I couldn’t wait to tell you about it. When my JJ arrived, the first thing I noticed was that it’s SO well made. I’ve been thoroughly impressed. And she has totally fab patterns to choose from too. I chose the pink and green swirls.
The purpose of the JJ is mainly for travel. It’s a great way to pack your jewelry safely, and it folds up neatly and slides right into the pocket of your suitcase. It stands up when you open it, so you can really use it at home too. Here are some pictures of mine.
When you open it up, there is a removable zippered pouch. This is where I put my bracelets.
Then on each side is plenty of room for all of your earrings.
And then it folds up and ties like this!
Totally clever, huh? Honestly, I’m so amazed and impressed by the ideas people come up with. To see more, you’ll want to read Janie’s description. And you just have to SEE how much stuff she fits in hers.
In the past, I have actually not brought extra jewelry with me on vacations because I didn’t know how to pack it safely and/or I didn’t want to mess with it. Yes, I am aware that is pathetic. But now I can’t wait for my next trip so I can pack my JJ and change my jewelry every day.
The JJ is the perfect unique gift for a friend or for yourself! Go check out the website and all the colorful fabric options. And be watching Musings for my giveaway next week!

These are cute! But I’m curious… how does it keep your post earrings from getting all bent if they’re straight back and pinned in that leather strap? And I don’t see where you put your necklaces… is it just for bracelets and earrings?

Hey! Great questions. I think you could hang your necklaces over that black thing the posts are on. It velcros so you can pull it out and fit stuff on it. And the earrings will just tilt to the side.
